Hombie promotes individualism yet creating room for collectivism where I have the freedom to decide the space to live in accordingly. A home that I can find in a hostel with freedom, inclusivity, joy of co-existing in nature, and safety is indeed a home by me!

Hostels being an important part of my student life, needs to be a space which can embody the spirits of different individuals under the same roof. The concept is derived from the idea of defining uniqueness from oneness. to fulfill the demand of freedom/individuality of different personalities.creating movable walls that maximizes the use of a balcony as per convenience and sliding doors that could transform
bedroom into a living area when required.

The form evolves opening up the building to create a stacked structure with a vast courtyard that provides openness and better visual communication. The welcoming nature and transparency of the building holds the power to hinder a common culture of bullying. the courtyard, cantilivered balconies and
intermediate patches of green areas provide a sense of closeness to nature and inclusivity on each floor level. the ground floor is designed for the common activities such as informal lounge, study, kitchen, dining, administration, games room & laundry with a central spiral staircase that opens up into the green
courtyard above.
